I thought I'd update what my thoughts are on the candy. It's done wonders and has helped allot. Last year some of the meat scraps we used were very fatty. Our baits showed It too as a few of our bear left a few weeks Into baiting/hunting. I switched up the meat scraps with meatier stuff and It took 3 days to get the bears coming back. Once they came back the baits were on fire. Type of bait means everything In a high pressured area like I hunt In. A guy never quits learning.
