That’s a pretty epic day of shed hunting! Good mass on the top buck, will be interesting to see what he looks like this year. Hopefully you run into him again.
He may not have got a pass were it not for the fact that the buck behind him was a lot bigger. I then missed that buck over his back at 31 yards. It was painful.
I’m pretty sure that top buck will be 6 years old this spring based on camera picks. He’s one of the biggest bodied deer I’ve ever seen. I’m hoping he gets a little bigger yet. He put on a lot of mass last year as I have one of his sheds from the year before. The other one was about 10 feet from this years set. I’ve seen him many times but only had him in range once. He likes to bed in standing bean fields as I’ve watched him for many hours through my spotting scope.

Tbunao, me, and my gf cleaned up yesterday. Tbunao-15, Shawna-5, and I found 13.

Re: 2021 shed thread
I had my best year shed hunting the past couple months. 9 public land, 6 on permission private. Also found my biggest one this season, 63” five point side. Have just under 90 miles on the boots. Lots of fun!!!

Re: 2021 shed thread
Had another good day today. I pulled into the approach of the first spot and there was a set laying in the ditch. I’m going to have to put some time in looking for the buck sporting the top antler. He should be pretty nice this fall.

Re: 2021 shed thread
I don't shed hunt but I did find this out scouting today. Always fun to find a shed even if it's not huge.

Looks like the chewed up old one next to the jumbo could be from the same deer?
