Having second thoughts now.

Unread postby Ghost Hunter » Mon Nov 16, 2020 12:45 pm

I had one buck tag left as of November 7th when this buck came through on me at 22 yards. I wanted to shoot but there is a lot of season left. Still got public time come in matter of a week or so soon or if weather cools down some for us. I usually try to get a buck on our lease an one on public. Don't always work out. But, here is short video. This is same location that I shot buck on Oct. 17th.

I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.

It was a decision that you made in that moment. We can always reflect and say what we should’ve done, but you committed to that decision and that is respectable. Whether you chose to shoot or not, you’re in control, so you must have your reasons and you should be comfortable with the choice.

Never pass a buck opening day you'd shoot closing day. If you grabbed your camera over your bow there was good reason, keep pushing forward.

Lots of time on the clock and some good hunting left. I’m only allowed 1 buck in my home area but if I was allotted 2. I believe I would shoot the first respectable one and then hold out for a sho nuff dandy.
