Might not be the worst. Does it look like it’s been used a lot or set up this season?

Definitely set up this season. Several deer passed in front of it just before close last night so I’ll give it the morning.

Might be the fella that left a butchered deer carcass at the parking lot.

Classy. Saw a gut pile on the gravel in a parking lot on opening day. Really guys, it’s not hard to do it 50 yards away...

I had a good week. Thursday I was able to take a nice buck. Caught him on a scrape about 10 minutes after sunset. Hard to pass this deer at 15 yards when the coming weeks are filled up with family obligations. I also have a S.D. archery trip scheduled for the first week of November.

Last night I shot my third doe this year in a herd reduction area. Been busy processing deer. This cold weather really has them moving.

Good luck everyone.

Did some scouting this morning, found a great bed and how to hunt it, kicked a buck out of there looks to be a 2-3yo..

Tonight I’m hunting hill country near on my grandpas land. He’s been seeing a big one lately. I’m in an area that has held big bucks. The sign looks promising.. no one has really figured out the big ones since grandpa quit hunting. So I’m narrowing it down one bedding area at a time until I Het him. Only 3-4 left, and I think this might be the one.

Had a spike come in from the edge of the bedding, it’s early, I hope the big boy does the same...

Congrats on the success PS!!!

Just got settled in. Hunting the ultimate overlooked spot. On a farm I've been hunting for 30 years and never sat here. About five acre woodlot too wet to be farmed. Surrounded on three sides by ag and a road along the other side. Big swamp across the road with lots of bedding. Saw a good looking buck cross into here yesterday during shooting light. Always been meaning to hunt in here just haven't had the motivation. Got a unusual wind that works really well for this sit. Well see what happens.

Was hunting had a guy in a grey Silverado come into my spot walk all through the buck bedding area. Thats spots ruined for the year probably forever now. Many hours to find a spot 5 minutes for it to be ruined.

I just climbed down and left was upset.
I know it's part of public but it ruins alot of my time. I really gotta stop trying to hunt my home wma of Chickasaw Wma its just not worth it anymore. Hardest wma in TN to hunt.

The bucks are getting bigger, this one was a spike with brow tines, 1 or two more bucks and it might be a shooter!

90 minutes left

Good luck guys!
