First beast style success
Had my first successful beast style hunt. No kill, but I saw a buck come from exactly where I thought one would come from. Hunting salt marsh public land on the lower shore of MD. I setup observing a small island with trails coming from the island converging under my set. I had cut a 4 finger buck track heading towards the island, the only thing beyond the island is marsh for a few hundred yards and then the bay. So I knew the tracks heading out there were him bedding. About 10 minutes after sunset on the same trail I cut the track, he appeared. He took a smaller trail I didn't notice and never presented a shot but damn if I was excited that my plan worked

I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.
