They do all sorts of crazy things. I shot one once, he ran back the way he came and crashed 40 yards away behind some brush. Then he got up and walked out on the other side and stood there looking at me. And I missed the follow up shot. Never saw him again. No blood. Found about 6" of the back of my arrow where he crashed. Think I clipped the shoulder and it was a light arrow. When he came out the second time he had the opposite side facing me. So I couldn't see the hit.

Anyway, congrats! I love tracking jobs like that.
