TN season almost here
Any fellow beast members from tennessee fired up for our bow opener? One of my areas didnt plant beans until the last part of june/ early july because of flooding. The beans are still green and I got 2 shooter bucks hitting them in daylight. Hopefully the acorns can hold off for 1.5 more weeks and I got a good shot on getting on one of these bucks. My plan is to glass the field the Friday evening before opening day and glass opening morning to try and put together a game plan for that saturday evening. I got one chance after these bucks because this field will get a lot of pressure and hopefully the pressure from opening morning wont drive them away that afternoon. Ive never hunted the bow opener so I am excited

Sounds awesome Matthew. Hope it works out for you!
Im ready for some tree therapy myself.
I have a couple Im wanting to go after...but for both of these to give me an early season chance, im going to need some acorns dropping
So maybe up here in my corner of the state, let those big whites start falling

laurel hill wma opens Saturday a week before normal season. E Regulations says 2020 season.
Most hunters never read each wma to find out specific special hunts. Careful ive seen some Giant Timber Rattlesnakes in this wma and a few decent bucks.
Biggest ive seen with my own eyes in here is about 130 inches.

Re: TN season almost here
I'm waiting patiently here in the northeast corner of the state. Gear has been packed and staged for a couple of weeks, I'm getting back in the habit of checking wind and weather every morning when I wake up. Crossbow, muzzleloader and rifle all dialed in, just waiting to be taken out and loaded again. I've even got my food packed for a couple of 5-day backpack hunts in November. I've got an idea about a couple of good bucks, and more places I want to hunt than I can possibly get to in one season. If season started tomorrow, I'd be ready to step off tomorrow. I still may not know what I'm doing, but I'm definitely ready to do it.
