We don't start here in south till Sept. 26th. I have a 5 day weekend coming up and little cooler temps are moving in this weekend. I think it will finally sink in that season is getting near.
I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.

Heading to KY Thursday after work for a week. Looks like the temps are supposed to cooperate finally, but I’m sure it’ll have the people out as well though.

It’s a last minute trip and I’ve been scrambling to get everything ready. I think I finally decided a week and a half ago to make a trip. There is absolutely no chance I won’t forget something. I’ve made a list but I’m not really positive everything I need is even on the list  I feel pretty good about my hunting stuff which isn’t much it’s more of the camping stuff I’m worried about.

Ohh well gonna make the best of It and as long as I have the basics I’ll make do. Im just ready to sit in a tree with my bow.

Archery opener is tomorrow here in SD, probably won't make it out until the weekend though.

Ecstatic. Spending more time on better public, working on getting permission on two properties my company owns, each a couple hundred acres and one in the city limits. Seeing some deer at both sites but mostly in it for the extended season and for a possible doe.

Plus my old man is back in the drivers seat and can bow hunt again after having to sit out last year. Not sure if I’m more pumped for my season or his.

Also got a nicer place up in central Wisconsin that is going to make colder weather trips a little bit easier than the old camper he has. Should be fun

Pumped. I'm sitting in my trailer now just staring at my gear trying to figure out what I'm forgetting. As long as I got my bow arrows and release everything else is secondary. Headed for Nebraska for a week starting wed.
It only takes 15 seconds for the hunt of a lifetime.
