Anyone have / use one? Pros and cons?

Thoughts on the SD adopter?

Thanks in advance

Put mine out Saturday morning... seems to be working alright... I’ve only gotten a couple pics sent so far... first one of me then nothing in the last two.. super super easy to setup but quality to phone isn’t as great as sd card pull! Might have to go in and move the camera to a different spot... I didn’t see much deer sign like I did last year to give it a fair shake... but in my opinion so far is I like how cheap and simple it is. But you also get what you pay for

I will also add it doesn’t seem to take pics as often as it should ... I feel that it doesn’t allow the camera to take pics after 10 secs delay like I have it set for... then it only sends pics every two hours when it transmits to phone

All mine have worked great. However unless there on a man made object (fence post) they seem to really spook the deer. I've heard this about all cell cams. I put mine on 1 transmission a day and the 2 during the season. I have it on an old run down carport on a grown over property and the deer have no clue. I had it on a huge pine and the smell and lick it, then avoid it.

Got mine Friday, been testing in the yard since and has been pretty good so far. I’ll transfer it to my lease next time I’m out there

Thoughts on the SD adopter wire?

Also what cameras are you hooking to it? Appreciate all the information

Mine is connected to an older Snyper camera

The wire needs to be folded on its self with a little excess wire, because when the door shuts it can slightly pull the SD card out. By pulling excess cable and folding it on itself, then closing the camera door, I had better luck.

Mine seems to send whenever the camera detect motion, instead of the 6x transmissions per day it’s set at through the app... Only con imo because you cannot remotely change the transmission status.

I own 2 Link micros and it’s ease of use has been on par with them

Sorry for all the questions. Any issues on the transfers?

I’m reading that some have issues with the SD adopter pushing pictures to the micro SD card and therefore never to the app.

Thanks again!

I should’ve tested mine instead of throwing it out in the field ... my first 4 pics sent to my phone but I suspect the micro sd has a lot more stored to it! The sd transfer cable is actually setup decent but I can see if you use it awhile the wires inside will break eventually

Does it have a transmission plan like a regular SPYPOINT or does it work with your cell plan?

I haven’t physically connected mine to an sd card reader so I can’t confirm if I’m getting 100% transfer to my app.

The plan is exactly like the cellular cameras, you connect the cell link to the app and it transmits the photos just like the other cameras.

My concern is the flat cable is quite thick, so any cameras with the SD slot on the side or top would allow moisture in

Did you fold the cable up inside the camera so when the door gets closed, it doesn’t pull the SD card out of the camera slot?

I heard this was an issue, there needs to be slack so when the door closes it doesn’t pull the SD card out of the slot slightly
