Klemz........... buck bed Pics ?
Klemz....
Just wondering if you still have the camera out on that buck bed ? If so, when do you think you are going to pull it to get results ? Will it be later towards the deer seasons ?

Love to see them.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Re: Klemz........... buck bed Pics ?
Hey guys, been out of town fishing the last week.
The bed camera is still in place. My plan is to leave it there as long as possible to hopefully gather as much info as I can. I would have to bust through some of my other buck bed set ups in order to access the camera bed so i will wait at least till after early bow season. Sometime in December probably.
I'm not trying to use it to gather intel for this hunting season. It's just to observe mature buck bedding tendencies in a swamp/farmland environment. It is also a test of my sign reading. I believe it is a bed of a 4 finger track buck that will be used in any wind direction. We'll see!
Other things I'm hoping to see...
- does more than one buck use the bed?
- will more than one buck use the bed on the same day?(smaller buck getting kicked out by bigger buck)
-how many days in a row will the same buck use the bed?
-what time of the season is the bed being used? (is it a pressure bed being used only after hunting seasons have opened?)
-can I relate food sources to when the bed is used?
-does the buck return to bed later based on the moon or weather?
-is the buck so comfortable in this bed that he sleeps on his side with all 4 legs sticking out like my old dog?
I am open to any other ideas on things to look at once i get the pictures.

Don't forget wind direction too Klemz.........
Man, I can't wait to see what you get for pics......... I wish it wasn't so far away till you get the camera, but I understand, don't want to screw up the other beds, plus you will get more pics in the meantime ( hopefully ), Hope the batteries last too....

If I remember correctly, he had it set to take a picture every so often, regardless of motion or anything, and had it figured out how many pictures it would take. His memory card would have no trouble holding that many pics, and those Reconyx cams will take waaay more pics that what it was gonna have to get on a set of batteries..
