Speaking of garbage I found about a dozen old beer cans on public this morning, every can was these old peel tops some were miller, some schlitz and found 3 glass whiskey bottles on the same ridge as well. I'm goin back in there after a Turkey next week and gonna carry a trash bag with me and gather it up.

You know, I get celebrating with a beer, I can even get why some guys might want to sit and have a beer while hunting(i would never even think about it, after is another story) but for the love of god I cant fathom how anyone can have the ambition to carry full beer cans with them into the woods but cant figure out how to carry the empty cans out? Lately I have been finding empty plastic bottles all over the place, and I am tired of cleaning it all up.

Yeah, that year-rounder should be a gold mine in fall.

Pun intended.

I've been able to get out and scout the last couple of weekends on a piece I first hunted this past season. I had a close call with a nice buck here, drew at the wrong time and played the staring game at 15 yards with his vitals covered. This was the first time I had been on the property so was very eager to get out there this spring and do some poking around. Starting to put the pieces together on this buck and maybe 1 other. Very new to this and lovin every minute.

Found a old small dead head right in a bed. Hair next to the bones from a new deer taking it over with rubs coming off the bed. The dead head is now about 30 ft up a tree after I threw it

This covid stuff has really helped my scouting game this year, honestly getting out twice as much as usual, maybe 3 times and find a lot of new stuff. Really getting to know some areas super well that I have scouted for years, filling in some of those gaps with some great overlooked spots and a handful of bedding areas I had missed in the past.
