At what cost? People traveled all across the country to set up a display booth at that show. People like the stick talon guy who drove up from Louisiana just to be told during set up that Gov said go home... All the surrounding hotels were booked with people for the show, all wanting a refund... I

It is pretty sad they are willing to shut the whole economy down at the drop of a hat. The old lady and I went out last night went to meijers pretty much all the fresh food was gone. Bread isle empty, very little frozen foods left milk and cheese is probably gone now. I just don't get why people are buying so much fresh food it is all going to bad in a week. After we grabbed about 3 things we left went out to dinner walked right in, got a seat at Maru in Midland. First time ever not having to wait. Midland was pretty dead last night except grocery stores were packed.

The thing that pissed me off the most was them cancelling this event. My relief from work cancelled his trip to jaimaca so I was able to go again. Oh well guess we will pick up the chips where they fall.

Glad dan put this up. He called me right when they were announcing over the intercom for all exhibitors to meet at the Hawg Tank yesterday afternoon. We could sense what was coming. I give Field & Stream a lot of credit, they really were caught between a rock and a hard place. They were trying to push forward, but they had no choice.

I am disappointed as well. I was excited to see the debut of the Mobile Hunting Section. I felt pretty confident that BEASTs were going to make it special.

I was also looking forward to the show. Instead of meeting some fellow beasts and checking out some gear I'm driving 6 hours round trip to the Detroit area to move my son home from college as his school has cancelled all face to face activity and classes for the rest of the semester. Hopefully we can all get together the next time around. And maybe it's for the best, some pretty wild stuff is happening in Europe right now.

No person in America, President, governor, whoever should have the power to restrict gatherings for any purpose, even public health. Are they going to start restricting public gatherings because of climate change under the guise of public health. This is why we should have never let the government hands in any kind of health care whatsoever. The government is not going to fix any of this stuff, they can only restrict our freedoms. The impact this is going to have on people all over America is going to be worse then the viruses itself.
