Pa scouting workshop

Unread postby jpe40 » Wed Dec 11, 2019 1:48 pm

I know last year there was discussion about trying to get Dan to come to PA for a scouting workshop and it didn't work out for whatever reason. Was just wondering if there was any interest or talk about trying to get it again this year.

If it's in the eastern portion of the state just tell me where and where and where to send the check....

Man I'd love to see Northcentral PA, living in NY now but I'd swing down to see a big woods workshop (Allegheny Nation Forest or Quehanna Wild Area) something along those lines. I know there are several others that would be interested in attending this as well.

Yes, and it'd be centralized for everyone to travel to. Its such big land too that I'm sure we wouldn't have any conflicts of interest ( us stomping thru another PA beasts area). Big, big bucks, low pressure.

We made an honest effort to organize this a couple years ago, but it just did not work out. There are regulations on PA public lands that make this difficult. Plus there are are only so many weekends between late season and green up, time was not on our side. This was even before the hunting beast's popularity exploded to what it is now. I would be all for it and happy to help out in any way, but at the same time I realize Dan is a very very busy man...One of these years I might just have to take a road trip to Wisconsin for a workshop
