Anyone have any experience with these? In grey light things are pretty blurry for me but I don't really care to wear glasses or contacts. This might be the solution! Gonna try it out this weekend at the local archery shop...
No magnification, just a lens in the peep to help clear up the sight pins/target

No experience with these, but have been curious about them. Its hard to focus at two different distances and the verifier is suppose to help with that. Those are designed for target shooters, and they typically use smaller diameter peeps (less light transition). Let us know how it works for you. In theory your not suppose to focus on both the sight and the target. You should be focused on the target and the pin should be blurry. This is difficult to do, but when you can do it, your in the money.

My only suggestion would be go with an open mind that you don't hunt only on sunny days. One rain drop in the peep with your clarifier in it can ruin your hunt. Or dew drop as your walking in. Can be over come if you build some kind of cover possibly.

My problem is not the pin it is more the target being blurry... I guess this lens is specific to the pin...
I still doubt I will wear glasses or contacts...

How far away are you talking? I cant pic out fine details or exact spots at 40yds and beyond, I just put the pin about where I think it should be.

2" targets at 20-25 yards are even a little blurry on edges. At 40 yards it is really fuzzy... doesn't hurt my accuracy much I don't think. I would just like it to be crystal clear and not have to wear glasses or contacts. I guess eye surgery could be an option down the road....

I hated my contacts the first month or so i started wearing them....now just hate not having them....the world is much better when everything is crystal clear. Get the contacts! I use the ones that I don't need to remove but once a month. They are great for me. Laser surg, guarantees you that you will be using reading glasses much sooner in life.

That is what I was told and the reason I'm putting it off

Re: Verifier Lens for Peep Sight
are you sure its not just you, you should be focusing on the target and the pin should be blurry. i can make it both ways but if youre seeing the target clear and the pin blurry that is correct, even in targets. if i start focusing on clearing up the pin, im all over the place, if i focus on the target and let the pin go blurry, the x's climb.

No I have prescription glasses for seeing distances/night time - that clears everything up. I tried getting contacts once before going to Manitoba and ended up saying F it! after trying to put them in my eyes for 30mins
