Is it an 8-Pointer or a 12-Pointer?

Unread postby Mountain Man » Thu Feb 18, 2010 10:29 am

Here is a picture of a buck that a friend of mine shot while bowhunting in eastern WI several years ago in early November. It's an 8 point 1.5 year old but it had the left antler of another 1.5 year old buck stuck in it's rack. When he first told me about it he said he had shot a 12-pointer and I immediately imagined a true slob. Even though the buck wasn't a slob or a true 12-pointer, it's still an odd yet unique occurrence in the whitetail world. Even thought the buck wasn't a slob, he had it mounted just as you see in the picture.
