Green bay walleyes

Unread postby BigHunt » Sat Apr 20, 2019 3:40 am

After a good opening day hunt I had a walleye trip planned for my birthday April 18th and it was nothing but excitement... I caught my personal best walleye yesterday 30 inches. I had 7 over 27 inches and multiple smaller ones... it was definitely a day for the books.

I definitely have a new addiction.

Well done Tyler. That looked worth putting on some warm clothes and heading out.

The bay is higher than it's been in 20 (+) years. Menominee river has 6 gates open and is roaring. We had alot of snow and just as it all melted 2 1/2 inches of rain. Lots of water!! Headed out in the morning to test the bite. Probably fish south between Marinette and Peshtigo.

We share a birthday, but your fishing went way better than mine! Nice fish brother.
