WET legs!

Unread postby Czabs » Thu Jul 07, 2011 6:51 pm

When I walk out in the morning to my stand through long grass/cattails I always end up freezing my legs off in my stand even early season. I was thinking I could just bring in an extra pair of pants and put them on at the base of my tree. Do you guys just suck it up or do you do other things. Just curious.

I usually wear hip boots since I end up in water most times anyway otherwise just wear a pair of rain pants.

Isn't rain pants loud? As far as hip boots, do you leave them lay on the bottom of your stand?

Aren't rain pants loud? And do you leave the hip boots lay at the bottom of your stand?

I have a pair of Cabela's pants that are lined on the inside and soft cloth on the outside. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Clothing ... t104021280 If I wear hip boots they stay on while in stand unless it is really warm out and then I fold the neoprene down to my knees.

Chap's that upland bird hunter's wear are very easy on/off.
That's what I use when there is alot of dew.
