They don't always follow the rules... Looks like he is hunting you watching that trail. Your going to have to take a close look at his bed and find a vulnerable way of getting at him.

You actually have a great situation. You can watch his every move. I would watch him to find his pattern. See where he is willing to move during the day. If he sticks to the open maybe you could build a blind and have the farmer drop you off with a rolling stop with his tractor. Is there any water near where he is bedding? maybe set up water where he can't see you enter your stand. You have to be inventive but you have the advantage because you can watch him.

Looks like a solid bedding spot to me....like Dan said, they don't always follow the rules....But this buck is following a few key rules, multiple access, escape (in GREEN) and he has a good idea when people are around. Bucks will often bed in and around hubs for this very reason (access, escape and bedding for a wide range of winds)....When I'm trying to find a bucks core I check the hubs out first.

I would keep an eye on him from a distance....See which way he goes on different winds. If I had to guess, I would wait for a W, NW, NNW or N wind. I would try to inter on the BLUE line and hunt that draw in the field that runs to the East....either the outside or inside corner (RED), depending on sign and what the glassing told me. That's if he is still there when season gets here.

GOOD LUCK!!!

I believe it's marked in blue in the last aerial Dan. Just east of the bedding.

If thats the case it should be an easy set up coming up the ravine to set up at the top kinda like Ninja pointed out.

The corn could change things some. That is if its still in when you hunt him. Theres a possibility that the cover provided by the corn will make him enter the woods further to the North.....And increase your odds of seeing him on his feet at the woods edge before dark. I would look for him to inter the woods in the vicinity of the RED arrows.

Depending on the bucks diminer...you may even catch him using the area I marked in Yellow in daylight also.

Same detail to wind and entrance of course.
