I shoot does whenever and wherever I can, preferably earlier in the season. I don't care if its 80 degrees-I will shoot a doe. I prefer not to shoot a doe during my vacation when I hunt the rut, as I usually have to spend 3/4 of the day processing the deer for my freezer. But I will and have-I just did it last year. Shots at does are not gimme's anywhere where I hunt.

Trying hard to manage (and love venison) some ground here and have always took them late. This year I am going to try early but limiting it to does leaving our ground to feed in the pm. I am also limiting this groups of 3 or less does, and preferrably groups with BB fawns. sometimes I think it would be easier to just hunt deer and get away form big picture deer management....
Green and growing... Or red and rotting
