Fisher steals my deer !
2 years ago I shot a doe and lost her trail in the marsh.I went back out the next morning to find her ,and instead I found a torn up carcass . I thought it must be a wolf so I set the camera .I was surprised it was a fisher.

Cool pics.
And for those who have never seen one... you don't want to. They are one of the meanest little sob's out there. I see probably 4-5 per year. I have had them circle me before as I was holding 2 barking dogs. I had another that was on my door step that came after me, he chased me back into my house. I bet he was close to 30lbs, by far the biggest I have ever seen.

Dude....A 30 lber??? They don't get anywhere near that big. Circleing and chasing you...
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

Re: Fisher steals my deer !
Well I'm glad I'm not the only one.....had one chase me back up my tree stand one morning.
Can become quite territoral. Have many, many pictures of them in bear baits and I think with hitting the baits they can grow a little larger. I would say average is 10-12 lbs for a male but have seen some monsters, with one we trapped that was around the 20 pound mark.
