Re: Pixie Dust
No way.
The scouting, and hunting are the reward, if everyone could do it every year, there would be no reward.

Re: Pixie Dust
Not a chance. This is my first year diving in and scouting and I am having a blast. I get so excited when I find a bed. If I get a buck this year it will mean much more to me than if I just used "pixie dust", sat in a stand and shot one.

Re: Pixie Dust
Come on guy's, Pixie dust IS real and we can see the proof! All you have to do is watch the realtree videos. Them guys use it ALL the time and look at the countless big bucks that them guys get ALL the time!!!!
No, but seriously, I've already had my days of experimenting with that crap and realized that it really doesn't work. I've got to agree, it takes a lot more skill and dedication to map out a specific buck and take him home in the end and hang him on the wall.
All that pixie crap is for is for guys that don't have or don't take time to get in the field to do the homework. When I did use that crap I actually believed that it worked and ended up with disappointment.
In reality to me, the only pixie dust that is truly available to us is totally free! Its called, "play the wind."

Re: Pixie Dust
I think you would have to use it to keep up with everyone else and it would ruin hunting as we know it...
Guess the next question is, if you invented pixie dust, would you mass market it to get rich? Or destroy it to keep it from ruining hunting?

Re: Pixie Dust
I would seal it inside a Lake Superior agate, Launch from the UP's Keweenaw peninsula and stop to fish giant lake trout at Stannard Rock, then find the deepest depths of Superior and sink the pixie dust so deep that only an offspring of Jacques Cousteau could ever hope to find it. Then I would stop at Stannard Rock again on the way in and catch more giant lakers... well, you asked!

Re: Pixie Dust
I would destroy it since I believe in doing things the hard way when it comes to hunting. That's why they call it "hunting and not "shooting"
Nothing beats the complete satisfaction you get from putting in a lot of hard work.
