Jeff Murray (1951-2010)

Unread postby PLB » Sat Mar 13, 2010 2:35 pm

I got my latest issue of Bowhunting World today and thay have a big article on Jeff and his pioneer tactics. I was not aware of his passing from cancer in January? The family is continuing to market the moon and rut guides. Anyone else aware of this? I was shocked when I read that! PLB

Yes we did hear of it. Very sad news for sure. Glad the family will continue the moon guide.

I was aware also, the hunting world lost a great one there. Does anyone have his NAHC book For Big Bucks Only? Its a older book but I think its definately one of the best.

Yes, I have that book and you are right it is a really good book. I also enjoyed his Moon Struck as well as his numerous magazine articles. Sad to hear he passed.

That is sad news. For Big Bucks Only is a good book. I like the swamp island chapter.

Yes I had also heard about it a while back it's sad that he passed. But like everyone else I'm very glad to know that his family will continue to market the moon guide and the rut guide. I got the moon guide for the first time this year and found it to be very accurate. RIP to a great pioneer in this sport.
