Really interesting set, not just the size but color too. They are the exact same tan color from the base to every tip, don't see that too often...

I noticed that too 3dog, buddy said they were found in place they didn't walk last spring so they could be a year old. I didn't push the point as he was kind enough to share the pic with me. I want them as rattling horns!

When I shot my 180 inch 15 pointer an old guy came over to the house and asked if he could cut the antlers up to make knife handles, wanted to know if I was going to throw them out.

Just goes to show that not everyone thinks that antlers are all that neat. Anyone remember the "knife handle buck" sheds found in Iowa? 200+ net set of sheds and one side got turned into knife handles as all tines were over 8 inches long.
