He is dead!!

Unread postby PredatorTC » Wed Nov 24, 2010 6:44 am

Well here is the buck that I have been hunting for three years he is 5 years old and i have tons of trail camera pictures of him. If you remember me saying, i had been hunting a different buck with the bow before i got the one i got. This is the one. He has to be in the mid 180s. Im thinkin he would have made top 5 for typical with the bow.

But a doe got him in trouble this morning.... i heard some shots on some public land nearby and then some hooting and hollaring. So i went to check it out and there he layed. These guys did not know about this buck. Not many people knew about this buck

Terry Rentmeester shot him on a drive. He is a second cousin of mine i dont really know. Congratts to him... he is pumped!!

They did not score him yet, but what do you think he scores. He is 23.25 inches wide with 12.5 inch g2s

I guessed alittle conservative because he doesn't look to have big mass........But whatever the score he is a great buck for sure!

Tough to swallow, but at least you know what happened to him.......My buck went off to the nieghbors the past 3 weeks and I have not seen him, they have seen him about 4 times now.....hopefully he makes it back for the late season.

Gross high 70s low 80s. Awesome buck. The deer I've been after for two years was shot early Nov. 21 scoreable points. I'm thinking he will gross high 80s low 9os. Sick feeling for sure. Felt like I lost a good buddy.

i agree with lunbuster he is dead on with score, beautiful buck, who cares what he scores, he looks like he score more, very impressive, that is a hard pill to swallow when the one buck you really wanted gets shot. i still try to be happy for everyone else it aint no fun anymore. nice pics

My buddy shot a buck that looks almost identical a few years ago near Waukesha. That buck tallied mid 170's so I will place my guess right around there.

Tough break there, Pred. I chased a buck for 3 years and never found out what happened to him (almost shot him the 2nd year during second bowseason after he shed....by mistake). At least you have closure and know where he is.

What does the shed score?

Awesome buck, did you know where he was bedding? Too bad you didn't get a crack at him. But, your young, and know what your doing, I'm sure you'll have another chance on a fine buck.
