Bear vs plane...

What do you do when your in the middle of the Alaskan wilderness hunting and a brown bear smells food in your plane so he eats your plane?

Well, you radio to a friend to fly you out a case of duct tape and new tires and you tape up the plane and fly back home!

Hundred mile an hour tape! In WW II they covered bullet holes in planes with it, if I recall correctly, and the holes wouldn't whistle until the air speed exceeded a hundred miles an hour.

Duct tape-----man's best friend!!! That and WD40, what else is needed???? Notice, that bear didn't mess with the rifle case???

Duck tape is some awesome stuff. Anyone seen that episode of mythbusters where they make a boat out of duct tape? The boat went like 20 mph for a long time before it started leaking.

With the tail and tires chewed up, I'd be willing to bet that was a crash with maybe a bear break-In afterwards. Not likely a true story.... Still amazed that someone would attempt to fly that plane with duct tape repair.
