Moose Bow Hunting
I just got back from a moose hunting trip in northern Maine. A friend of mine drew a tag, and I was invited on the hunt. It's a of a place to try and arrow one. The season is only 6 days long. I'm back to work now, but my friends are still up there trying. Wish them luck, and I'll update with pics if they wind up getting one.
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

Re: Moose Bow Hunting
Good luck to them. That would be awesome.
I am going to look into going into Manitoba soon as I want to do that, plus I could shoot a wolf up there with a Moose tag, so I am told

Bull moose down! They got one this morning. And on film with a camera man. I'll try and get a pic.

The moose horn is sweet. When i went I simply used a cheerleaders call....it worked great, but wasnt pretty.

I looked for the moose call pic, didnt find it but found this cool photo I thought I'd share. Congrats to the successful hunters once again. I now have an itch to do it again.
