I know I bumped an old thread but I found the pic of my first deer and wanted to share. Shot in 2010. I took hunters safety in 2009. Still being so new to hunting, I shot him intentionally in the shoulder. The arrow didn't pass through and he made it 180ish yards. Had to track him down the following morning. I learned a lot from that kill. Learned a TON about the anatomy and how to gut/process.

I have no 1st deer pics. I some how lost well over 100 pictures of deer kills I had as a youngster. However I do have a few other 1st...

My 1st bear. I was 14 years old, 1989. Pictured Is my mom and dad, my brother and myself. For some reason my bow Isn't In these pics.

My 1st buck. I was 14 years old, 1989. A few of the guys In the tracking party along with myself. My dad was In Colorado elk hunting so he couldn't share the moment. For some reason my bow Isn't In this picture either.

Shot my first deer with an XI Impact Plus when I was 9 years old. I was fat and nerdy but that little button buck made my day! Gotta love the first squirrel pic too, original treebark sweatshirt and jerseyz sweatpants tucked into Northerner boots. Stylin and profiling.

All these deer were shot on a tiny little 40acre or so piece of public land butted right up against Beaver Dam Lake, WI
First and only bow buck 2008, most rewarding feeling ever! even better than my big guy below


First doe I ever shot 2010, 80yds 12guage sniper right between the eyes

Dont have a picture of my first gun buck but ill take a picture of the rack later and post it, this is my 2nd and last buck i ever shot with a gun 2006, prolly biggest ill ever get...

First bow kill, in my second year of bow hunting 2005. I was pretty excited! My first year bow hunting in 2004, I had a few encounters but blew them by moving at the wrong time etc....

First bow deer - big doe. Shot her at about 25 yards, bounded away a few yards then tipped over 30 minutes into my first bowhunt ever. Needless to say I spent the next few years learning how much harder it really was!
