Cool Trail Pic - Fawn Escapes Yote (maybe)

Unread postby Sam Ubl » Fri Aug 06, 2010 6:32 am

I saved this pic a while back after reviewing some pictures a buddy submitted to Cuddebacks trail photo contest.. I just think it's kind of neat and maybe you'd like to see it.

Wonder if the fawn escaped?

Sam, do you have coyotes where you hunt ? We have quite a few around me, but I never see any, just hear them alot at night... Makes me wonder just how many fawns they get ? I hear the bear are even worse on fawns up north, not sure how true that is, but that's what i've heard...

That's cool. Here's one along the same lines.

A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

While out West I would find spring bear crap with deer and elk fawn/calf hooves in it. Bear are hard on newborns.

X2... One of the farms I hunt is over run by yotes and we have not seen a fawn there in several years.

Do your duty Dan... Dispatch!

Is this farm you took some great pictures from last year of your snowy coyote hunt?

Wow... The fawn definately did not make it unless the doe was close by.
