Good guesses! The pic is deceiving because the snow is pretty deep, so my hand isn't right next to the track really. It was a little bigger than a cougar, but most of the cats look the same, but just vary in size. It was actually this guy:

Had to help my girlfriend build some snowmen for this video the other week and thought it would be neat to grab a pic of a tiger track.

Cool... 8-)
I was wondering if I was right... It sure had the characteristics of a cat track. But I was thinking it would have to be one huge lion... So what does your Girlfriend do with those cats?

She is the head keeper at a cat sanctuary. The organization gives the cats a home for life, my girlfriend feeds and takes care of them, builds the cages, and provides enrichment for them (like snowmen or scents or toys etc). Its not open to the public but I help out there once in a while and its cool to be able to see all the cats, everything from house cats up to lions, tigers, cougars, lynx, even a leopard and jaguar.

Ahhhh Michel, very few of us have seen cougar, much less Tiger tracks, so no reason feel "dummy". This is all a learning experience for us. Great opp for learning and guessing the track. I think we should continue with this with other animals. Including animals we do hunt on a regular basis. With that, maybe guessing the weight/sex as well. The tracks i am seeing here of the hogs in HI, Mark is pointing out the estimated weight when as we find them. Very good practice.

So who has the next track to figure out?
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.John 3:16 KJV
