Do bucks bed closer to one another than does?
Not in the usual circular doe pattern?

Quite honestly, I have not spent a great deal of time observing group buck bedding. But what I have seen, and looking and the beds, leads me to believe that though they are bedded near each other they still maintain the individuality trait that bucks have in the fall and have more of a self protection attitude. I have seen summer buck groups bed in areas in the cattails where they litterly cram into a 12 foot circle where they have flattened all the cattails and bed really close, and I have seen them bunch up in the more traditional buck bedding areas spreading out not quite in sight of each other...

Interesting old thread.:)

Thought I would bring it back to life with all of the talk about beds lately.
