Freak Deer
I just wanted to see if anyone had any weird, or unusual deer. I have a deer with a double throat patch, a deer with a black chin(try and find one), a deer with a mane, and a deer with two main beams on one side(the smaller beam is over 20").
What kind of freaks do you have?

A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

Re: Freak Deer
The midget freak... Ram like antlers that curl. Deer appeared to be at least 2 1/2 but had short legs and weighed about 50 pounds.
One velvet antler, one hard. The velvet one is angled downward. Had some sort of head trauma. Scull was broken and grown back together...
Giant... Bottomed out a 300 pound scale.
The white doe...
I also have one with two main beams but don't have the picture on the computer.

Re: Freak Deer
No real freaks for me. I see a buck with a little funky stuff on one side due to injury once in a while but that is it.

Re: Freak Deer
I have a cactus buck, a triple main beamed buck, and the freak I shot this year. Also killed one with a mane which I guess is more common than most realize.

Re: Freak Deer
I have two I will add to the list, the first being "the drop beam buck", who funny enough has a 16" wide inside spread according to the guy who measured him.
This is buck is one with a weird rack, not very common I suppose, just weird palmation on wide side with weird point growth, and the other one with the points growing straight up in the air.
Hard to tell in the picture but the webbing is like the size of my palm on the bucks right side, and about an inch thick. Also, no brow tines which really makes him look different as well.

Mr squiggles one of my target bucks this year. Killed by the orange army.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
