I used to work on the Buffalo Farm. I've got some awesome pics of them and some interesting stories of being charged, cornered, events I put together and held at the farm etc....
Someone on FB was just asking me to post those pics. Just need to locate them. That was like 100 yrs ago when I worked there.
But yum....all the free buffalo meat I wanted. We had freezers full!

What else do we need to know about the accomodations on this jaunt. Or what else do we need to bring besides the remainder of the piggy cost?

I'm with Lou, we're short timing it now. The work week is looming, and I'm literally walking out of the door at 5pm friday and driving up- it's time to be prepared! Got my bow out yesterday and sailed one over the target! My pin had moved, perfect right left but a vertical adjustment was made. No piggy is safe now!! Used my Rhinehart cube for the first time (X-mas gift). Man that thing's awesome, shot it with broadhead and blades.

I'm geeked about this Pig Gig, should be a riot! 8-)

I'm pump! I can't wait. Been shooting everyday here at work for weeks. I talked to him a couple times I never asked what we needed to bring with. He did say we can come any time on friday. We should be there by noon to chase some birds.

I am on Superiors website now, to get a feel for this.

This page has good info.
http://www.superiorgameranch.com/bigame.html

It says a modern cabin with fully equipped kitchen (Cool), but also says it accomodates 6 hunters per day. Which makes me think we have a different, or another cabin. If not, at least we will get to know each other pretty well on this trip. And that's not all - a shower, what a bonus.

I have been tearing up my broadhead target lately.

Deb... I miss Willy the pig. Carols old potbelly.

I just talked to Jeff. He said a client just shot an incredibly huge sow today. I asked if it was over 300 pounds, he said way over! :o
We have have a full kitchen, shower, heat, etc.. He said we don't need cooking utensils, everything will be there. He said One cabin will hold 9 people. We will have two cabins, the second is a little smaller I think.
Reba and Jeff have invited us to eat at his house as guests on Saturday after hunting. They are really looking forward to us visiting again. 8-)
