Great insite for those that hunt hogs. The only thing I would add for advice, (not that I'm an expert by any means) is when shooting them with a bow, you would want that leg facing you in a more forward position and the hog in a quartering away position for best results. Otherwise, what the experts here in Texas do alot is "pin the shoulders together". They go down in 50 yards or less with each of those shots. With a gun, right behind the ear or between the eyes if they are charging you. In Texas, we have the wonderful right to carry a handgun (concealed and open) when hunting. Most hardcore hog hunters do not go out without one. As the big boars have no problem with spinning on a dime and coming after ya!!!!!

I would say broadhead choice is a big consideration as well as hogs have a tough shoulder shield that will limit penetration especially on lower KE bows.I will be using a sharp cut on contact fixed blade head :D ;)
