I have only shot toms so far, I have passed on jakes early in the season only to go home empty handed, as well. I think I would shoot a jake on the last day of the season, we have plenty of turkeys where I hunt.

Absolutely a jake if presented an opportunity with my bow (see contest), although now that I harvested a jake, next period I will hold off on a big Tom!!!

p.s. the jake tasted good on the grill with moral mushrooms and red onion! Tasted alittle better than a turkey tag! :lol:
