I've killed two birds with them, they work great for shots under 15 yards. I sold mine because they are a PITA to carry around.

I don't like re tuning my bow for special broadheads. Plus you can't shoot through mesh with them. It is cool seeing the vids from the guys that use them, but I'll stick to the same exact fixed heads I use for deer.
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

I hunt on the run alot of times...and if I end up in the woods, I would be a little leary of using them due to the foliage. I stick to my regular broadheads.

The range is too limited with giullotines, I use a standard cut on contact fixed blade, although I have toyed with the idea of a big expandable for turkeys.

Would make for dynamite film footage, but a terrible mount ;)

Giant expandables are where it's at for turkeys. I use Rocket Hammerheads, they are 3 bladed and have a 2 inch cut.

Just checking... I can see they wouldn't work for me cause I "run & gun" most hunts and there is no blind and 15 yard or less shots are not the norm. I generally shoot 20 to 30 yards.

I use them exclusively. I personally don't use or believe in body shots; I don't like tracking birds. As far as the range is concerned....I have killed birds at 30 yards with head shots. They work very well, but you have to be dedicated to tuning your bow to using them.

I've killed two strutters w/ them. They're cool. One was under 2 yrds. and one was 17 yrds. Last year I had one catch my sight at full draw and I couldn't shoot. Yea ! I was pissed.
I made a blade protector for my quiver w/ a bill from a baseball cap.
This helps them from snaggin' stuff and from drawing people blood.
I don't retune for them and carry an expandable for longer shots and running and gunning.
