Alec's 1st Longbeard

Unread postby BONECRUSHER » Tue Apr 19, 2011 12:05 pm

Well the opener here in Michigan started out with a white out and about 3" of snow at daybreak, with not one gobble from any direction. So after an hour or so I had took take him home to shake the cold and wetness off him. With the temp at 31 this morning it didn't take long for a ten year old to get miserable. So after the snow broke we went back out and got some response, but boy were they hanging up on us. Finally we were able to find three that came with in 100 yards from us and turned and went over a hill, so I decided to make a quick move to the hill they went over and the rest is history.

That is absolutely awesome. When I first heard you were serious about getting Alec on a bird and Alec was serious to go, I knew one thing.

Another SE MI bird was hitting the dirt/snow.

congrats to the young man.
