Roosting toms in the evenings?

Unread postby kher » Thu May 07, 2020 6:42 am

Wondering how late you can owl hoot to get turkeys to gobble to give away their roost for the next morning hunt? I was going to hunt and try to roost some birds at one location, then drive 15 minutes or so to another location.

I’ve been hearing birds at 2015 like clockwork. Sunset is 1954. I’ve heard a few earlier but most have been just before dark.
