Simpzenith’s mouth call how-to video... MONEY!

Unread postby greenhorndave » Wed Apr 15, 2020 6:00 am

I’m new to the turkey world. I was having a heck of a time with mouth call placement, particularly the angle, as none of the videos I watched explained it very well.

Then I ran into ol’ Simpzenith’s mouth call video. Bam! Success.

Thanks Shane. I know it’s an oldie, but it’s a goodie...

Shane once turkey season is done could you ever put together a short video of how to make that real light soft "meeww meeww" hen sound you make at the 13:09 mark of your video with catman below...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78yPR8Z0GMc

Ive watched all the videos you put out and last year I learned the fighting purr as I saw how valuable it was when you put it to use..in terms of both a follow up shot if you miss a bird or to increase your odds to double if your hunting with a friend...I'd like to work on my soft calling and cant seem to find any good tutorials on it. Your YT channel rocks! hope you have a great season!

I could get a tag for the 4th season i believe but i will be int the fields planting. Archery season is April 13th-May 17th. I should have got that but didnt think hunting with a bow would be good for my first time.

Same here been trying to learn how to mouth call this year. Have always just used pot calls. And the angle thing really helped. Like greenhorne Dave said Shane's is the only video that mentions it. Thank You!!
