On the hunt for Big Eddie

Unread postby dan » Sun Apr 21, 2019 3:45 pm

On the hunt for Big Eddie...

Sometimes I need a little alone time to stare into the trees waiting for a big tom turkey to come back to roost. An escape from work, from life, from news, from politics, from everything. Leave the phone in the truck, and stare out towards the distant gobbles and let your mind wander.

Sometimes I think about the past, sometimes the future, and occasionally about the turkeys I am hunting. I like to call it "tree time"... Whether or not you hunt, everyone needs alone time, and everyone needs adventure, to clear the mind, and refresh the soul.

Those of you who chase turkeys, good luck to you this spring. I hope you get big Eddie, and get some tree time... If your nodding in agreement feel free to post a pic of your "tree time" or some recent outdoors photo...

I feel the same way. Any time in the woods is time well spent.
