Colorado is done!
I was able to get a nice tom this afternoon. Unfortunately my son was taking a nap and wasn’t with me. He went 19.15 #, 9” beard and 7/8” spurs. It’s the first animal I shot with a gun in 10 years. However, I was sitting in the open on spot and stalk hunt. Off to Kansas and my bow is back in my hand.

Thanks guys. Colorado can be tough but I’m starting to see a lot more birds here.
Strange, on my phone the photo is the correct rotation....

Re: Colorado is done!
I believe they are hybrids. The reintroduction a few years ago were done with hybrids a number of years ago. The population is taking off and I have seen big growth in numbers the last two years. I do live in the eastern plains area and we do get Rios but I think there are more hybrids.
