Bird #1 for me (still chasing #2). My biggest ever. 1.5" spurs, 10" paintbrush beard and 24lbs.

Bird number 1 of 3 this year (2 in WV 1 in VA). All about 17 lbs, over inch spurs and 9 inch beards. Most recent one is my first over 4000 ft. These big woods mountain gobblers sure are smaller than other ones on here, 20+ pounds is rare where I hunt.
Some do. Some don't. I just might...

4/22/18 , Ohio Public Land
Called two longbeards in to a decoy . He had to swing right as they started to walk away , he shot the second bird.

Mine on the Ohio opener. 4/23/18
Public Land
Heard this bird roosted across a creek the day before while we were on the youth hunt . Got the waders out and moved in early.

Hunted a new public area to us . First time there and will defiantly be back.

Filled my two 4th season tags with one shot. Was a group of 5 that came in and I had to be careful not to knock more than two down with one shot
Each had 1-1/8" spurs, one was 24 lbs 10.5" beard the other 22 lbs 10" beard.
