Has anyone on here intentionally bagged two toms with one shot?

I have been in a situation where I could probably have done it quite a few times over the years but never had more than 1 tag for that season so never tried. However this year I am getting two 4th season Iowa tags (which is legal although not many other hunters know they can do that seems like).

To make it challenging I want to see if I can get two with one shot, just wait till the heads line up and let them have it.... since I'm trying I probably will never get more than one tom to respond at a time tho

I did last year. Found the story but photobucket messed it up now. I had hurt my back and couldn't hunt till 4th season here in Iowa. I bought 2 4th season combo tags and hobbled out last weekend of season. I had 5 birds spotted and made a very large stalk and into position with my reaping fan. I popped it up, 3 ran in. The 2 closest were lined up at 5 yards and I smoked them. It was awesome, but it took a long time to get them out because I had a hurt back / weigh restriction.

I have heard of people killing two deer with one shot so it’s no doubt possible. The question is is it ethical? Only you can decide that.

Honestly I would rather have the experience of two different hunts and tag them separately.

I have seen it happen "unintentionally" twice. One time definitely was unintentional, the other I am not so sure.

Took a while, found the pic from last year. They were side by side when I shot from the fan, back one flopped away a bit. They were 4 steps away, it was fun and I had no doubt they'd both drop.

Shot two squirrels with one shot from a 22 mag about 25 years ago. Never killed two turkeys with one shot but have had to wait for them to separate so I didn’t several times.

It is illegal to take two toms on the same day here.

If I pull the trigger on two birds I will be 100% certain they both will go down or I won't try it. Not planning on pushing the envelope with this.

I called in 3 jakes once, and they were so bunched up I probably could have got all 3. I waited and waited until they finally started getting nervous and 2 of them went back down the hill and out of sight. I shot the 1 that was dumb enough to stay, and when I went to get him here I found another 1 just down the hill. Couldn't legally tag 2 birds so I gave 1 to a buddy.
So ya, I have done it but not intentionally.

Shot 2 doves with one shot, they were flying. Also unintentionally.
