Did it....
What is really bizarre is I also had two coyotes come in hunting my hen yelps on a different setup. They lined up and I rolled both of them with one shot. Never heard of that happening before. However one got back up, naturally right behind a big tree from me then behind a blowdown to prevent a followup shot and I never found him. But I am fairly certain he won't make it because I got enough pellets in him to knock him down. The other one was dead right there. Pair of young dumb pups from last year.
Absurd coincidence that both of these things happened.

Don't be comparing me to Babe Ruth man. There was a pile of luck in happening upon the right group of birds
I think killing two with one shotshell is easier than killing one with a bow without using a blind

Congrats, now you're in the same boat as me. =)
A bird, with a bow, without a blind sounds like a headache to accomplish.

It is a headache...tried for 4 or 5 seasons before I finally tagged one like that. That was back when I had the time to screw up half a dozen times each season. Hence the gun these days

Well done joere! You called that one. I believe a good hunter has premonitions on what they’re gonna accomplish. Call it confidence and lots of experience
