Fanned one in
Been a tricky season, havent been out much but still managed to fan in 3 big toms opening weekend with the recurve... and a miss at 10 yards. Week later fanned in 5 and some how missed another one so close feathers were brushing the fan on my recurve. Then a few days ago whiffed with the shotgun. Well today I found a really dumb one.
After having a negative reaction to the fan right off the bat we walked to the other side of the farm and I located one up by some hog buildings breeding a hen. I made a very aggressive move to within 150 yards and before I knew it he was about 5 yards and closing. I dumped him almost at my feet. Look close at the last pic, you can see the silver bins on the hog barn, thats where he was when I first saw him. Buildings are all full of hogs, couldn't believe they were up that close.

Is that a dust pan on the back of the fan. If so, that's awesome. Lol

It was the worlds worst dust pan. I complained about it for 4 years and one day made a fan... I had nothing to mount the fan on and thought whatever I needed MUST have a handle. Voila, my fan was born. This year I got really creative and put an old aluminium arrow with field tip in there for easy ability to stick it into the ground. Great idea.
