WESTERN WISCONSIN REPORT: for the past 3 weekends I've been traveling to western Wisconsin to check trail cams, scout and monitor turkeys. my usually spots are looking good. had 7 different toms screaming at me last weekend. still flocked up pretty good. I except that until early to mid April

SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN REPORT: went out this moring right out my back door and checked my usally honey holes. needless to say 2016 is looking good!!!

Just drove thru Spring Green in Sauk County a few hours ago and saw a flock of about 30 turkey in a field and at least 5 toms were strutting. 8-)

Heard lot's of gobbling in Iowa this weekend while I was scouting.

Season begins next Saturday for me (April 2nd)

MAAAANNNNNNN I'M READY!

Went out this morning and the gobblers were hammering!

Went back this afternoon and watched them go to roost. Will be back out watching and observing in the morning

C'mon opener :)

Just got back from morning preheat setup.

Birds were very very vocal until they hit the ground.
Very flocked up. Super enjoyable watching and listening to spring gobblers fired up!!

Good to all you beast where season is open.

BIG HUNT looking forward to yours and Jodi's report.

as many tags as you buy. I applied for 1 tag. the left over tags went on sale last Monday the 21st. I picked it up 3 left over tags so I have 4 tags this year . same as last year. I think bassboysLLP has 6 tags  the tag system is first come first sever basis . so once there gone there gone.

this year they switched the process to paperless tags so it was little more hectic to buy left over tags. but in the long run I think no back tags for deer hunting is awesome and not having to tag the animal is nice .

That's cool. We are only allowed one in Michigan and my hunt is usually over in a day or two. Then I help a friend or family get one.
