I've certainly seen birds this past week or so in SE Wis. Ive been out 3 days buck bed scouting and haven't heard a gobble. But I have not been out at dawn.

I drove about a 5 mile loop today along the lake Michigan shore line. Not much going on. One gobbler all alone. That was the only turkey I noticed. Hope they start getting after it soon as i have first season.

My yearly calendar date I use is April 01 every year. My log history shows that's usually when they start to gobble good in the am. IMO we are having a slow spring warmup here though..
With that in mind I hope to be out listening in SE Wis next Monday on..
