winner,winner, turkey dinner?

Unread postby remmag » Tue Apr 14, 2015 12:19 pm

Never been much of a turkey hunter for various reasons, shot a small tom quite a few years ago and haven't really chased them since. But I bought a tag this year and have a couple different properties to hunt that I'm pretty excited about, just curious what some of you diehard turkey hunters are doing with your birds food wise? Any other special delicisse's or methods you guys do with your bird other than just the typical skin and freeze until thanksgiving? I seen packaged turkey burger at the store the other day that got me thinking about it....I only got one tag and being that turkeys are small this probably isn't a method I'm gonna try
