Get out before they come off the roost n listen.. or head out n tge evening right at sunset. They are pretty consistant at roosting in the same genera area forever. Once u find them they will b in the same area year after year. Anywhere with hard woods close to an open field. Old corn fields from last yr will b hot.. clover patches.. also small open areas where they can dust. Look for scratchings. U might not find any sign n they r still there. A feather would b enough to let me know they r in the area. The best thingabout turkeys Iis there pretty vocal n easy to find quickly. Good luck

Re: scouting question
Keep in mind turkeys don't roost in the same trees every evening.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Re: scouting question
They often wont b in the same trees but will often be within a few hundred yards. .. not always but often. If u know alot of different roosting "AREAS" then u can locate birds quick. If no responce move.
