Congrats Andy. Come on, give some details.

How big was the bird, how far was the shot, and anything else you want to divulge?

Thanks Lou. I was actually waiting to see if anyone noticed it was a bearded hen. I know taking a bearded hen is sometimes "taboo", but it's something I always wanted to do (kinda a bucket list thing) and she was in an area with abundant turkeys male and female. As you can see in the video I passed a nice TOM in hopes of taking her...or one of the other bigger TOMs in the back ground. Shot was 20 yards...it was lethal, but I put an extra one in her for safe measure but she was already done. Probably won't every take a bearded hen again, but I was more than pleased with her and how the hunt went.

I looked at that pic a few times and thought it looked a little "hen-ish". Either way, congratulations Andy!
