Bought a new call today

Unread postby bowhunter15 » Mon Mar 11, 2013 2:09 pm

I was at the MN deer classic today and watched a seminar by a guy named Dick Alford. After the show he sold what was left of his hand made calls. I got a call that is slate on one side and glass on the other along with four strikers. They are all wooden tipped with shotgun shell handles of different sizes. One even has a ring on the shell that can change the pitch of the sound. He showed me how to use it too, as I've never really used a slate call before. And for $18 for the set, I couldn't pass it up. Looking forward to trying it out this spring!
